Composer Dreams(album notes)
The idea presented here in my album "Composer Dreams", is how a simple melody, with basic strummed guitar accompaniment, can develop into a whole dreamscape of complexity and arrangement. In my minds eye was a scene where a songwriter sits down with a guitar and just starts strumming chords. Next, a nice melody comes to mind that he starts laying on top, just lightly humming to himself. Then, while just playing this simple song over and over he starts having these far out dream like visions of where this music could go, and is then hearing all these sounds playing in his head. -Stan
