Live at the Dingo Bar
Eric and Stan had been performing as an acoustic guitar duet for a few years. It was a sideline gig for both of them. Eric had his main band "The Angry Babies" and Stan had a blues band "Stratman & The Mystery Blues Band".
These bands were their full time jobs so the duet played here and there. But, regularly at The Dingo Bar . It was both of their home base--a great bar! (Thanks, Miguel)
Eric had moved to San Francisco and had a few bands there--they would occasionally come thru Albuquerque on tour. Also Stan would occasionally go out there to do a few gigs.
On one such occasion Eric and Stan opened the show with the duet. Only later did Stan find out that the set had been recorded by Eric's sound man when he sent him the cassette tape. It had been released as an album on NMX records. (Later on CD). As Stan puts it..."Wow! What a great surprise!"
If you find a recording...Cool! But something happened with that record company and although there was indeed a large run of CD's, (and a smaller run of cassettes) there is no product to be found.
